The Ministries of Agriculture & National Economy oversee the economy of Franconia.
The Ministry of Agriculture is divided into several offices (Hauptamte) by product base, these being Arable, Dairy Products, Meat Products, & Fisheries. The Ministry is also responsible for the provision of Veterinary Services to the nation.

The Ministry of the National Economy oversees the industrial base of the country. It to is divided into several offices by industry group.

These offices are Manufacturing, Artisans, Banking, Commerce, Insurance, Power & Transport. These offices are in turn responsible for the Corporations within their sphere.

There are three types of Corporation in Franconia:

National Corporations (Reichswerke): These are wholly owned by the government & are in effect monopolies. These include all Armaments & Munitions corporations & shipbuilding among others. They are protected by law from purchase by Private Corporations.

State Corporations (Staatswerke): These corporations are a collaboration between the government & the private sector, with the government retaining the majority share holding. State corporations are not protected from private purchase or takeovers.

Private Corporations (Privatswerke): These are fully owned by private shareholders.

Corporation Tax in Franconia is set at 30%. In addition all State Corporations must pay an 80% tax on all profits.
